Solaris claims to be top placed provider of electric buses in Europe

Poland – Solaris Bus & Coach SA of Bolechowo is claiming leadership in supplying electric bus contracts in 2019, which it says is largely due to three sizeable orders placed by customers in Berlin, Warsaw and Milan. The company has just announced its 100th contract which is for five electric Urbino 12s for PKM in Katowice, Poland.

Since the delivery of the first electric bus to a customer from the Austrian Klagenfurt in 2013, Solaris has delivered or acquired orders for more than 700 vehicles from its Urbino electric family. They are spread across 17 European countries.
