Toyota supplies hydrogen fuel-cell systems to Chinese truck and bus builders

Japan / China - Toyota Motor Corporation of Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, Japan said it is supplying key parts for hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEV) to Chinese truck and bus builders, FAW Group Corporation of Changchun, Jilin and Higer Bus Co Ltd of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, as it looks to promote the use of the technology globally.

For at least two decades now, Toyota has believed in hydrogen as a mainstream alternative fuel to diesel and it is now seen as a technology leader in this segment along with South Korean company, Hyundai Motor Company of Seoul.
