Iveco Bus gains its largest ever order from Norway

France / Norway - Iveco Bus of Lyons, France, ahas completed its largest bus delivery ever to Norwegian operator, Vy Buss AS, formerly Nettbuss AS. The order covered a total of 217 city and intercity buses in three different versions. The first buses went into operation early this summer and operate in both Øvre and Nedre Romerike. The bus tender has a duration of 8 years with the possibility of an extension. 

The 217 vehicles, all Crossway models and include 110, 14.5m three-axle LE Line versions. These buses have 57 seats and room for 52 standing passengers and are powered by the 360hp Cursor 9 engine. A further 67 12.1m two-axle Crossway LE Line buses, powered by the 320hp Tector 7 engine, have 45 seats and room for 39 standing passengers. The remaining 40 are Crossway Line versions measuring 13m long with normal-height floors and powered by 320hp Tector 7 engines. They have 49 seats and room for 29 standing passengers.
