MANN+HUMMEL inaugurates new air filter factory for CVs in Sapucaia do Sul

Brazil / Germany - Filtration specialist, MANN+HUMMEL Brasil Ltda of Indaiatuba, State of Sao Paulo (a subsidiary of MANN+HUMMEL GmbH of Ludwigsburg, Germany) announced last month it has opened a new factory for producing air filtration systems for commercial vehicles in Sapucaia do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul (RS) state.
The new production unit is located within an existing MANN+HUMMEL plant, the location being highly suitable in terms of logistics due to its proximity to its main customer. The plant is to work with new industry 4.0 concepts involving digitally connecting the production processes and lean manufacturing principals focused on reducing waste.
