The new test bench, installed in the company’s Ludwigsberg research and development facility, can measure the efficiency and lifetime of fuel cell components such as humidifiers.

The new production unit is located within an existing MANN+HUMMEL plant and near its main customer. The plant is to be digitally connected with lean manufacturing principals focused on reducing waste.

At the end of last year Mann+Hummel’s ‘Filter Cubes’ were successfully installed in Stuttgart at a busy road junction in the district of Neckartor to reduce the level of fine dust pollution.
