Germany – The Mercedes-Benz Uptime programme from Mercedes-Benz Trucks of Stuttgart, is now available to operators using Atego trucks. The system ensures workshop visits are as predictable and efficient as possible and the service can be added as part of a service contract or as a separate product.

Vehicles with Uptime communicate the current status of their systems, constantly and in real time, to both Mercedes-Benz Service and the transport company's own HQ. If critical conditions are detected, the data from Uptime is directly interpreted and possible solutions provided. Mercedes-Benz Service will advise the customer on the optimum repair solution to suit their business needs. Uptime is designed to detect any maintenance and repair requirements at an early stage and helps prevent any foreseeable breakdowns from happening – allowing workshop visits to be better planned and downtime minimised.
