Anadolu Isuzu unveils three electric vehicles at Busworld

Turkey / Belgium - Anadolu Isuzu unveiled three electric vehicles and a CNG-fuelled variant of its Interliner 13 at Busworld Europe held in Brussels last month. The electric vehicles included a Novociti Volt medium range, Novociti Volt long range and a Citivolt 12. These were premiered alongside five examples of conventional diesel-powered models including the Visigo Hyper, Turquoise, Citiport 18, Citiport 12 Hyper, and Novo Cabrio.

The Novociti Volt versions are both available in 7.8m or 8.1m lengths and are 2.43m wide. The long range version features the same TM4 Sumo MD traction motor as fitted to the medium range model but the batteries are different. The medium range model, with a claimed range of 270km, has a lithium ion 200kWh (NCA) pack allowing the motor to generate 240kW power and 2,300Nm torque – whereas the long range version, with a claimed range of 330km, has a 250kWh lithium ion (NMC) battery pack allowing the motor to provide 255kW and 2,355Nm torque.
