Spain / Belgium / Mexico - Long-established Spanish coachbuilder, Ayats of Arbúcies, revealed its latest double deck coach at Busworld called Horizon InterCity. It is 4m high and 14.35m long and features a low floor section for easy access and offers a capacity for 130 passengers comprising 105 seats and up to 25 standees.

Horizon, which is the successor to the Eclipse model, is an integral design powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 471 engine and offered with either a Mercedes-Benz GO 250-8 or a ZF alternative gearbox. Body framing is steel and new GRP staircases and exterior panels are employed. The volume of the glass is higher than before, so aesthetically, Ayats believes it is much improved. Horizon is also available as body-on-chassis combinations with Scania or MAN. Production of the Horizon has already started with the first unit built being displayed on the stand and this was to be delivered to a customer in Germany after the show. It is now in the process of building another ten units.
