Navistar forms NEXT eMobility Solutions

USA - NEXT eMobility Solutions is the name of a new business unit, set up by Navistar Inc of Lisle, Illinois to deliver customized electrification solutions in the truck and school bus markets in North America. Navistar states NEXT eMobility Solutions is dedicating a world-class, lean engineering team to developing the best products in the electric vehicle sector, using a consultative philosophy that embraces the full range of customers' needs.
Vehicles developed by NEXT eMobility Solutions are to be offered under the International Truck and IC Bus name plates and will be sold and supported by International Truck and IC Bus dealers, respectively. Using NEXT as a catalyst for implementation, Navistar plans to have IC Bus electric school buses available at the end of 2020, while International medium-duty electric trucks will be introduced in early 2021.
