Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC - Fuso) unveiled at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show the new Super Great heavy-duty truck fitted with Level 2 automated driving technology.

The Kawasaki-based company claims this is the first heavy-duty truck in Japan to be fitted with this level of automated driver assist technology and the third model of its kind within the Daimler Trucks’ group. It features anti-collision and lane-departure avoidance technologies and puts the company within one step of releasing Level 4 automated driving in Japan market – as soon as local regulations permit.
