Global truck market (>6t gvw) expected to contract to below 3 million units in 2020, says LMC

USA - Global demand for trucks started to weaken in the second half of 2019 and this trend is set to continue in 2020 and 2021, stated Zita Zigan, director of global commercial vehicle forecasting at LMC Automotive Ltd of Oxford, UK. Zigan was speaking at the annual LMC Global Medium & Heavy Truck Industry Seminar held in London last month and her presentation of the global economies and global markets is summarised below.
