SAF-Holland launches SMAR-te Tire Pilot pressure management system in USA

USA - SAF-Holland USA Inc of Muskegon, USA, a manufacturer of commercial vehicle components at the NACV Show in Atlanta, Georgia launched SMAR-te Tire Pilot – an intelligent evolution of tyre pressure management.
The company said improper tyre pressure causes 80% of premature tyre failures. It calculates 66% of fleets have tyres operating at more than 5 PSI (pounds of force per square inch) from the proper setting and 22% have at least one tyre more than 20 PSI from the proper setting.
