SAF-Holland opens new factory in China

Germany / ChinaSAF-Holland GmbH of Bessenbach, Germany has opened its new production plant in Yangzhou, China. The facility is to produce a full range of SAF-Holland commercial vehicle components and aims to provide an optimum supply for local customers and to increase its market share in the expanding Chinese market.

The production buildings and offices occupy around 46,600 square metres floor area on a site extending to almost 72,000 square metres. Currently 134 employees work on-site in production and administration. Production is focused on axles from the CBX (self-steer axle suspension), SAF-Modul (air suspended trailer axle), LowLoader and Restart series, including suspension systems as well as a large part of its landing gear range.
