St Petersburg to trial CaetanoBus e.City Gold electric city bus

Portugal / Russia – Portuguese bus and coach manufacturer, CaetanoBus of Gaia and PB GUP Passazhiravtotrans, the largest bus operator in North-Western region of Russia, which signed a co-operation agreement during Busworld Europe, have announced Passazhiravtotrans began testing Caetano’s e.City Gold electric bus in St. Petersburg.

The Caetano e.City Gold is a 100% electric low-floor, modular bus, which offers a single charge range of 300km and passenger capacity for up to 87 people. St. Petersburg is the first city in Russia to test the Caetano electric bus and its characteristics will be assessed by drivers and technical specialists.
