Russia – The Russian bus and coach market reached 13,963 units in 2019, an increase of 5.2% on 13,274 in 2018, according to statistics collated by LLC Avtostat Info. The market share of foreign brands was small at 1,685 units or 13.7% of total registrations. The top three manufacturers remained unchanged of PAZ, LiAZ and NefAZ with the gap between the two latter large bus builders, narrowing considerably. China's Yutong remained the most popular foreign brand in Russia and in 2019 it boosted sales by 13.3% to 578 units (510) to take fourth place.

Relative success for European brands were for MAN with 82 units sold and Iveco Bus with 43 units. MAN owed its success to a major order from Moscow's transportation company, Mosgortrans for 100 Lion's Coaches. The first deliveries began in 2019.
