PolandSolaris Bus & Coach of Bolechowo is expanding its range of electric city buses with the launch of a new 15m tri-axle electric bus model – the Urbino 15LE. The new model is aimed more specifically at Scandinavian markets, where this is a commonly used product, but not exclusively. It is to be available both as a typical city bus (Class I*) and as an intercity bus (Class II*).

Solaris offered its first 15m tri-axle buses in 1999 based on conventional diesel and CNG engines. In total, the company has delivered almost 1300 units. The new generation Urbino 15 LE model is only available with an electric drive and offered either with two or three doors (2-2-0 or 2-2-1 layout). It will seat up to 55 passengers.
