Hino links with logistics consulting firm Trancom

Japan - Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer, Hino Motors Ltd, based in Tokyo, has entered a capital and business alliance with local logistics consulting services firm, Trancom Co Ltd, with a view to optimising transportation networks in the country.

Trancom, based in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan specializes in helping to improve the operational efficiency of transportation companies, including reducing long-distance transportation costs by matching freight with empty or partially-loaded trucks.
