Knapen Tilt-able aluminium plate to protect roof sheet is now an option with all aluminium Knapen trailer models

Netherlands - In the context of the lowest cost of ownership, Knapen Trailers BV (a subsidiary of the Krone Group) is now offering an optional feature of a tilt-able aluminium plate to protect the roof sheet on all its other models of aluminium trailers. The aluminium plate is already a standard feature of its steel eXtreme10px trailers.
The option is ideal for customers which regularly load their moving floor trailer by crane. The aluminium plate is mounted lengthwise under the roof sheet. From the platform, the key for the roof sheet can be used to tilt the aluminium plate into a horizontal or vertical position. Positioning the plate vertically before loading effectively protects the rolled-up roof sheet and reduces risk of damage. It can also be retrofitted.
