UD Trucks appoints new distributor in Saudi Arabia

Japan / Saudi Arabia - February saw UD Trucks of Saitama, Japan appoint Zahid Tractor & Heavy Machinery Co Ltd (Zahid Tractor) of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (a subsidiary The Zahid Group) as its exclusive importer and distributor of trucks, parts and aftermarket services in Saudi Arabia following the termination of a similar agreement with the Rolaco Group.

UD Trucks has been present in the Saudi market almost 40 years, resulting, it claims, from its focus on customer service, on product reliability and maximizing uptime. UD Trucks says it is keen for these standards to be maintained during the transition period to the new distributor.
