Voith transmissions selected for 500 MB city bus order in Casablanca

Germany / Morocco – Transmission specialist, Voith Turbo, a division of Voith AG of Heidenheim, is to equip 500 Euro VI Mercedes-Benz city buses with DIWA.6 automatic transmissions. Spanish bus operator, ALSA specified the DIWA units for operation on services in Casablanca. The order comprises 420 Conecto buses and 80 Coneto G articulated buses.

This is the second major DIWA.6 order for Voith in Morocco with ALSA in 2019 choosing DIWA units for use on 100 Mercedes-Benz Conecto G articulated bus for use in the Moroccan capital of Rabat.
