Allison chosen as standard transmission in new Mack MD

USA / Sweden - Allison Transmission Inc of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA has been selected as the standard transmission provider for the new Mack Trucks MD Series of medium-duty trucks.

The new MD Series – see T&BB February 2020 - are to be equipped with Allison 2000 Series model transmissions, which include FuelSense 2.0 with Dynactive Shifting. The 2500 Highway Series is to be the standard transmission, and the 2500 Rugged Duty Series is to be available for applications requiring a power take-off. This new truck range is suited for dry van/reefer, stake/flatbed, dump and tanker applications.
