Fire detection and suppression control now mandatory in coaches in Turkey

Turkey / USA - February 27, 2020, was the official date for compliance for fitment of fire suppression equipment in new coaches above 8t gvw in Turkey, according to local representative of advanced fire-safety technology specialist, Kidde Technologies Inc of Wilson, North Carolina (a part of Collins Aerospace and UTC), USA, at Busworld Turkey 2020 last month.

Kidde Technologies - a global manufacturer of automatic fire detection/suppression and gas leak detection for motor coaches, school buses, transit/city buses and paratransit buses for all fuel types - displaying its latest fire suppression system for coaches - was displaying its latest fire suppression and suppression equipment for motor coaches 8t gvw and above, fully compliant to UN EEC 107 regulations; the company was exhibiting together with two other such on-board vehicle fire detection and suppression supply companies; namely Fogmaker and Dafo.
