Karsan appoints Quantron as main dealer for e-bus sales in Germany

Turkey / Germany - Karsan Otomotiv Sanayii ve Tic. A.Ş. of Bursa, Turkey has appointed Quantron AG of Augsburg, Germany, as its dealer for Germany to expand its sales and service network in Europe’s largest bus market with a market size of 7,000 units a year.

Quantron AG, started to provide sales and service of Karsan's commercial vehicle e-bus models, Jest Electric and Atak Electric, in November last year. Quantum, a recently-formed subsidiary of 130 year old logistics firm, Haller GmbH & Co KG of Möglingen, operates in the field of emission-free road transportation. In addition to electric vehicles it offers conversion of diesel-powered vehicles into hybrid electric and fully electric vehicles. As well as having a total of 220 service points in Germany, Quantron offers a workshop network throughout Europe through its cooperation with Alltrucks Truck & Trailer Service.
