Ford Trucks initiates distribution network for medium and heavy trucks in Western Europe

Turkey / Spain / Portugal / Italy – Following the revelation of the its Euro 6 compliant heavy truck, called F-Max, in April 2017, Ford Trucks of Kocaeli, Turkey, is moving forward with expanding its distribution base in Western Europe through the appointment of private and independently-owned distributors, which it hopes to complete by 2023.

In October 2019, Ford Trucks announced it had assigned its first distributors in Western Europe in Portugal and Spain. The first facility in Portugal was opened in Lisbon in partnership with Oneshop, which is headquartered in Lisbon. Sinan Kayhan, responsible for sales in Spain & Portugal at Ford Trucks, said: “There will be six sales and service zones/locations by the end of the year.” These are expected to cover all major cities like Porto, Leira, Algarve and Viseu.
