Jack Allen appointed CEO at Proterra

USA – As part of the company’s strategy to expand operations, senior management roles at electric vehicle builder, Proterra Inc of Burlingame, California have been restructured appointing current chairman, Jack Allen as chairman and chief executive officer and Ryan Popple, Proterra’s current CEO since 2014, appointed as co-founder and executive director.
Allen, who spent more than 30 years at Navistar International, before joining Proterra as chairman in 2017, will use his extensive operational experience to guide Proterra’s continuing growth, including scaling operations, and supply chain and manufacturing capability to meet growing demand for zero-emission vehicles.
