Turkey - With two electric bus models, the Jest Electric and Atak Electric midi-buses in series production and sales now exceeding 100 units, Karsan Otomotiv Sanayii ve Tic A.Ş. of Bursa, Turkey is moving full throttle to develop an autonomous version of Atak Electric!

“Autonomous Atak Electric will be ready by the end of the year,” announced Okan Baş, CEO of Karsan last month. “We started works to ensure the Atak Electric, which was developed by our R&D team and went into scaled production in September 2019, enjoys Level-4 Autonomous driving skills; in other words, features an automatic driving system that will handle all the requirements for a dynamic driving experience without the help of a driver.”
