Knapen Trailers’ moving floor trailers certified to transport paper rolls with single securing strap

The Netherlands - Moving floor trailer specialist, Knapen Trailers BV (a subsidiary of the Krone Group) of Deurne, has gained special certification for transporting paper rolls in its moving floor trailers.
Knapen says that based on this certificate, securing each roll of paper separately with straps is no longer necessary. According to the guidelines described in the certificate, only the rear roll of paper needs to be secured and should be placed on non-slip matting. Knapen Trailers says to prevent damage if the paper rolls are unloaded using the moving floor, it advises the rolls are placed on a sheet of cardboard.
