Knorr-Bremse renews disc brake wheel-end supply with Schmitz Cargobull

Germany - Knorr-Bremse AG of Munich has announced a high double-digit million Euro disc-brake supply extension contract with Europe’s biggest semi- trailer builder, Schmitz Cargobull AG of Horstmar, Germany.
The renewed contract will see a continuation of its supply agreement of wheel-end applications for the Schmitz Cargobull trailer axle (Rotos+*). This will involve continued supply of its current ST7 trailer air disc brake technology until the changeover to Knorr-Bremse’s new trailer-specific lightweight single piston disc brake design, called NEXTT.
