Webasto is pan-European charging partner for Scania plug-in hybrids

Sweden / Germany – Heavy-duty truck builder, Scania AB, a Traton Group company, has chosen Webasto Group of Stockdorf to be its charging partner across Europe, to provide charging stations when selling its new plug-in hybrid truck.

Webasto is offering two 22kW alternating charging options - the Webasto Pure and the intelligent Webasto Live system which facilitates flexible networking via the mobile network, and it can be controlled using the Webasto LiveApp and Webasto Charging Portal. In addition, Scania customers can also benefit from the Webasto installation service.
