Alstom starts roll out of Aptis electric buses in France

France – Following the announcement in June last year by French train, tram and now electric bus producer, Alstom of Saint-Ouen (Paris) France that it had started series manufacturing its 12m electric bus, Aptis, since the start of 2020 it has been delivering its innovative bus design to cities in France.

In January 2020 it began with delivery of the very first commercial 100% all-electric Aptis buses to transport operator, Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS) in Strasbourg. This was also the company’s first commercial order for Aptis placed in March 2019, which was for 12, 12m 3-door units.
