Kamaz starts market rollout of new K5 series tractors

Russia – PJSC Kamaz of Naberezhnye Chelny has started commercial sales of its new Kamaz-54901 highway tractor, the first in its K5 model range.
This market introduction follows on from the vehicle’s initial presentation as a prototype at COMTRANS in Moscow held September 2017, production testing in 2019 and then batch production followed for trials with several major carriers / customers. The Kamaz-54901 highway tractor model has been tested under real-life conditions with adjustments made following customer feedback in preparation for the official vehicle launch in 2020.
