KAMAZ together with the Bauman Moscow State Technical University have developed an autonomous articulated tipper, KAMAZ-6561, for opencast mining operations.

Moscow hosted the Bauma СТТ Russia exhibition which was supported by more than 340 companies from 16 countries. In addition to specialist construction machinery, the show featured new heavy-duty tipper trucks from Russia’s traditional on-highway commercial vehicle builders.

The Kama Auto Plant (KamAZ) of Naberezhnye Chelny, has expanded its city bus portfolio to include a low-floor articulated city bus, KAMAZ-6299, in its own name.

The assembly of KAMAZ-6282 electric buses has begun at the Sokolniki Tram Car Repair and Construction Plant (SVARZ) in Moscow, a facility owned by the city public transit organization, Mosgortrans, which has been converted partly to complete the manufacture of up to 500 buses a year.

KamAZ OSJC of Naberezhnye Chelny has expanded its range of heavy-duty tippers for off-road quarrying operations with the new 10x6, KAMAZ-65807, which offers a payload of 65t (95t gvw) – it was launched at MiningWorld Russia-2021 exhibition in Moscow in April.

Production capacity of the R6 in-line six-cylinder engine range of JSC Kamaz at its headquarters and main manufacturing base in Naberezhnye is to be increased from 12,000 units annually to 30,000, the heavy truck builder has announced.
