First Lion8 electric chassis sales with Boivin side loading refuse collection bodies

Canada / USA – Canada’s electric truck and bus builder, Lion Electric Co (Lion) of Saint Jerome and body building specialist, Boivin Evolution of Quebec have announced first sales of a jointly developed fully-electric waste collection vehicle to North American waste services operator, Waste Connections Inc.

The partners say introduction of the Lion8 chassis and the Boivin Evolution all-electric automated side-loading body in Washington and Florida, will represent the first applications of zero-emission trucks with fully electric waste collection bodies and automated arms in North America.
