South Korea - Global tyre producer, Hankook Tire of Gyeonggi-do, Seoul, Republic of Korea has developed a real-time facilities abnormality prediction system called Condition Monitoring System Plus (CMS+) for its tyre manufacturing plants around the globe.

Hankook explains its abnormality prediction monitoring system is based on artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT). This new system is three to four times more accurate, states Hankook, as well as being much faster, allowing for quicker identification of facility abnormalities, which can then be used to prevent entire production lines to be shutdown.
