Stemco to exit brake drum, disc and slack adjuster business as part of major business reorganisation

USAStemco of Longview, Texas, an EnPro Industries subsidiary and brand, and manufacturer of heavy-duty components for commercial vehicles, has instigated a series of changes to its product lines to refocus resources on its core products and business areas.

Consequently, it announced it is to exit the CV brake products segment. Production of its Motor Wheel brake drum and Crewson brake adjuster product lines are to cease. Stemco said orders will be taken until July 31, 2020, shipped based on customer demand and will continue to honour warranty claims going forward.
