VDL to supply Cyprus with 65 mini/midibuses

The Netherlands / Cyprus - VDL Bus & Coach is supplying 65 mini/midi buses to Cyprus Public Transport (CPT), comprising 15 VDL MidCitys for operation in the historic capital Nicosia and 50 VDL MidEuros for use in rural areas – all are based on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.

The 15 VDL MidCitys are developed entirely for public transport and have a multifunctional section with a low floor providing 14 seats, 11 standing places and a wheelchair space with associated ramp for easy access. In addition, the vehicles have USB connections, a ticket console next to the driver and a 1,250mm-wide double door.
