Hubner develops new driver protection screens

Germany - Hübner Group of Kassel, Germany has developed a new TÜV-approved driver protection safety-glass screen with Kassel Public Transport Company (KVG) which, so far, have been installed in 78 of KVG's buses operating in Kassel.

Since mid-March, KVG had implemented a range of protective measures in connection with the coronavirus - including separation of the driver cockpit from the passenger area and keeping the front door of buses closed to passengers for boarding and alighting. Sale of tickets by bus drivers was also suspended.
