Lightning Systems sets up charging infrastructure services division

USA - Lightning Systems of Loveland, Colorado, a developer and manufacturer of zero-emission commercial electric vehicles has announced it has diversified its business and technology portfolio by launching a new division called Lightning Energy. The new subsidiary  offering charging technologies and services to commercial and government fleets.

Lightning Energy designs, installs, services and manages charging infrastructure and systems, providing fleets with turnkey options to support fleet electrification and help stakeholders achieve new sustainability goals. As a part of Lightning Systems, Lightning Energy is to offer a full range of purchased or leased charging stations and, optionally, full charging as a service (CaaS). CaaS will include infrastructure installation, permitting, utilities liaison, maintenance, and on-going management software, and regulatory credit monetisation, to operate small, medium or large fleets of electric vehicles.
