ARBOC Specialty Vehicles to offer Polser USA’s antimicrobial interior panels

USA / Turkey - ARBOC Specialty Vehicles LLC, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc, will be the first to include anti-microbial sidewall panels from Polser USA of Elkhart, Indiana, USA - a subsidiary of Polser International of Izmir, Turkey - for the interiors of its buses. With downtime for sanitation as a significant concern for transit bus organisations, this hygiene safety upgrade is said to provide a highly effective, no-maintenance feature for customers.

Polser’s AMB fibre-reinforced panels feature a permanent coating, like a microscopic bed of nails. Polser claims this actively and instantaneously kills 99.9% of micro-organisms on contact. Polser states the coating works by disrupting the cell membrane, eliminating any possibility of mutation or adaptation and is non-toxic and does not need any chemical solutions to function.
