Germany / Austria - Omniplus On, Daimler Buses' digital services portal, is being expanded with new applications tailored to the needs of bus operating companies and potential customers wishing to hire them. The latest offering, developed in co-operation with the Viennese company, EBA Bus Alliance GmbH, is a system called Online Charter System, which will be integrated into the Omniplus On Portal. EBA Bus-angebote GmbH, a subsidiary, also based in Vienna, is a technology company that aims to simplify online searches, create online offers, and book bus services and make them more transparent for group travellers. It says: “www.bus-angebote.com is the only offer and booking platform for bus rental with instant offers in real time. The system allows bus companies to manage charter travel digitally and to advertise their services via the bus-angebot.com platform or on their own website. (For example, a teacher looking for a touring coach for a school trip can compare, request and directly book offers from bus companies using bus-angebot.com).

The new service for charter management is anchored in the Omniplus On monitor area which also includes time management, operational planning and monitoring – making full use of all the advantages of digitisation and connectivity made possible by the platform concept.
