Volvo Trucks North America signs MoU with Samsara for integrated IoT

USA - Volvo Trucks North America Inc of Greensboro, North Carolina, USA has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Samsara Inc, a San Francisco-based specialist in industrial Internet of Things (IoT). The move will enable Volvo and its North American subsidiaries including Mack Trucks to offer new options in integrated connectivity with the overall aim of providing an all-encompassing single-source telematics service. This aims to include compliance services, cameras, trailer sensors and safety maintenance services.
Samsara’s portfolio of complete IoT solutions combine hardware, software, and cloud to bring real-time visibility, analytics, and AI to operations. The company serves over 15,000 customers across diverse sizes and industries, including transportation and logistics, field services, energy, construction, and other sectors.
