Borgwarner acquires Delphi Technologies

USA / UK / France / India – November 2020 saw BorgWarner Inc of Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA has completed its acquisition of UK, London-headquartered Delphi Technologies plc. The acquisition is aimed at strengthening BorgWarner's electronics and power electronics products, capabilities and to provide scale. Delphi subsidiaries include Delphi TVS Diesel Services Ltd of Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu and Delphi France SA of Sergy (Paris), France.
Frédéric Lissalde, president and CEO, BorgWarner, said: "Through this combination, BorgWarner is better positioned with a more comprehensive portfolio of industry-leading propulsion products and systems across combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles. We expect the combination will also strengthen our commercial vehicle and aftermarket businesses.”
