Knorr-Bremse DETC expands with new facility in China

Germany / China - Knorr-Bremse DETC Commercial Vehicle Braking Technology Co Ltd* (Knorr-Bremse DETC – a joint venture between Germany’s Knorr-Bremse and Dongfeng CV) of Shiyan City, Hubei, has broken ground at a 50,000 square metre (m²) site in Dongfeng Industrial Park, Shanghai.

The new plant is to replace three separate existing factories. The company is aiming to expand manufacturing capacity, improve efficiency and reduce production costs with a view to strengthening co-operation with Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle.
