Krone and THT New Cool strengthen co-operation to develop next generation fully electric refrigerated trailer with regenerative-energy trailer axle

Germany / The Netherlands – Werlte-based trailer manufacturer, Krone Commercial Vehicles SE is strengthening its co-operation with Dutch electrical refrigeration specialist, THT New Cool based in Venlo to bring to market an electrically powered refrigerated trailer with some energy recuperated using the trailer axle.

The partnership has developed 12, next (second) generation Krone Cool Liners, where the refrigeration is a fully electric operation.
