Krone redesigns its Profi Liner trailer

Germany – Krone Commercial Vehicles SE has completely redesigned its general purpose Profi Liner (or curtainsider) trailer, placing special attention to the front wall, the superstructure, floor, load securing and the rear. Alterations include a welded ladder frame design with end-to-end longitudinal beams and profiled transverse beams for the trailer's new, improved chassis concept and light weight. This allows use of smaller base plates, which in turn makes repairs easier.

Plywood base plates are installed; Krone claims these transfer forces in all directions better than other floor concepts. The new Profi Liner can be approved in accordance with EN 283 for forklift axle loads up to 8t (standard 7t). The base plates are attached with permanently elastic high-performance adhesive, which ensures permeability.
