Peterbilt delivers its 10,000th Model 579 UltraLoft

USA - Peterbilt Motors Company of Denton, Texas has delivered 10,000 Model 579 UltraLoft trucks with the milestone truck going to Long Haul Trucking of Albertville, Minnesota.
The key benefits Peterbilt Model 579 UltraLoft include a spacious cab design with more than 70 cubic feet of storage space. The exterior design of the 80" UltraLoft high-roof integral sleeper model retains the bold, iconic Peterbilt look, while improving aerodynamics and saving 200lbs in weight. Its aerodynamic styling achieves a 2% airflow enhancement over Peterbilt’s discrete sleepers, equating up to a 1% fuel efficiency improvement to the bottom line.
