SBRS case study on efficient cooling for EV charging infrastructure

|

By Jim Gibbins - 1st November 2020

Germany – SBRS GmbH of Dinslaken, provider of turnkey electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has published a case study which highlights the need for efficient cooling alongside electric bus charging facilities. The study is based on 15 successful SBRS installations across Europe.

According to SBRS, high-performance charging infrastructure requires efficient cooling systems as the availability and service life of the power electronic components used in the charging systems is optimal when the operating temperature is kept constant. SBRS uses a combination of fast-charging points along the routes and charging stations at the bus depot. It relies on systems made by technotrans SE from Sassenberg.
