Ebusco partners with Rocsys to develop automated robot CCS plug-in charging

The Netherlands – Electric bus builder and depot charger system supplier, Ebusco of Deurne, is working with Rocsys Bv of Delft, a supplier of plug-in robots, to automate bus charging in depots through robotisation. The robot ensures the CCS* plug of the depot charger plugs into the bus automatically and 100% correctly.
Peter Bijvelds, CEO of Ebusco said: “The advantages of automating bus depots are many and varied: automating this process means there is no need for human hands. First, it saves time; secondly, it eliminates the risk of a bus not being charged in the morning, because someone forgot to plug in the bus, or the plug wasn’t inserted properly.”
