Ford USA to launch E-Transit in 2022

USA – Ford Motor Company of Detroit, USA has confirmed it is to launch the new all-electric Transit, called E-Transit in the North America and European van markets from 2022. Ford claims it will be a smart workhorse offering customers enhanced productivity enabled by its fully electric powertrain, software solutions, services and Ford’s ‘Pro Power Onboard’ options.
Future E-Transit models will offer the same interior cargo dimensions and standard mounting points so upfitters and vehicle modifiers worldwide can utilise the same racks, bins and other accessories currently used on conventionally-powered Transits.
