Hankook wins award for R&D centre

South Korea – The Hankook Technodome, the new state-of-the-art R&D centre installed by Hankook Tire of Seongnam-si (Seoul), South Korea at its primary tyre manufacturing  plant in Daejeon has received the “Certification of Exemplary Laboratories in Safety Management” award by the Ministry of Science and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in South Korea.

The Hankook Technodome is an environmentally friendly, high-tech research and development centre with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The complex covers a surface area of 96,328 square metres, distributed over a total of seven floors. The Hankook Technodome is the Group’s global basic research centre making a significant contribution to the innovation process. Hankook has strategic partnership with global premium car and CV brands.
